From a single refill hogshead of 2007 Mortlach, bottled at 16 years of age and reduced to this series trademark easy drinking strength of 48.5%.

Nose: Waxes, oils, cereals, and buttery notes combine with baked apple, starched fabrics, and nicely fatty olive oil touches. Very easy, rich, and full of the raw, malty ingredients.

Palate: Classic full-bodied Mortlach goodness! Lots of oily sweetness and waxes balanced by green and yellow fruits and cereals.

Finish: Long, warming, peppery, cereal, and full of more green fruits with some floral notes.
